Fired up for FITUR: five of our favourite Madrid partner hotels
We’re starting 2022 as we mean to go on: taking our message to all corners of the globe. Our first stop is the city of Madrid for FITUR – the melting pot for the world’s tourism professionals.
We can’t wait to meet you and to talk about how we can rebuild travel together. Nevertheless, despite the current climate, this year’s FITUR is set to be markedly different to last year’s event.
Aleix Pla, Key Account Executive, is one of the Impalans attending. “Despite last year’s event going ahead, it was very quiet, so we’re excited to actually meet many more people this year - prudently, of course.
So a packed five days are on the cards. “It’s so much nicer meeting in person and we’ll have a real chance to connect and talk about building the future together,” he adds.
If you want to talk to Impala while you’re in Madrid, just get in touch. In a nod to the home of FITUR, we’ve handpicked some of our favourite partner hotels in the Spanish capital.
1. INNSiDE Madrid Gran Vía
No wonder Spain’s most populous city is so popular when it has hotels like this. Located on the vibrant Gran Vía, this four-star pad offers stylish and cavernous rooms making it the perfect launchpad for discovering the city. If it’s more of a chilled vibe you’re after, why not gather on the rooftop terrace or unwind in the downstairs lounge bar. And did we mention the in-house fitness centre?
2. Hotel Sardinero Madrid
Striking the right balance between historical poise and present-day comforts isn’t easy. Hotel Sardinero Madrid has both in spades. Take in the building’s period beauty before marvelling at your room’s detailing from a bygone era. An Instagram-worthy hotel if there ever was one.
3. Hospes Puerta de Alcalá
If your search always starts with typing ‘five-star hotel’, then the Hospes Puerta de Alcalá will not disappoint. Double-height ceilings and ornate period styling come as standard, while an understated colour palette throughout oozes quiet luxury. An avant-garde hotel that is a must-visit.
4. Aspasios Atocha Apartments
For a more down-to-earth vibe, look to these four-star boutique apartments. Designed to appeal to a wide range of travellers – singles, couples and groups – each fully serviced space is beautifully furnished. With the city centre literally on your doorstep, staying here will make you feel like a true madrileño.
5. TÓTEM Madrid
